I've lived here for over 10 years and for some reason, I just recently realized how many different kinds of birds visit
my backyard. They are a joy to have, they sing beautiful songs, and they sure are God's gorgeous creation.
As you can see, most of them were standing on the telephone line in our backyard when I photographed them.

Allen's Humming Bird taking a shower. It's call sounds like a rattle. |
Humming birds are a joy to watch. I found out that on a hot day, if I water the yard, the humming bird would take
a shower. It would hover over the water that sprinkles upward while it is flying!
|
Doesn't this Allen's hummingbird look mad? |
